Dining Shrimper is one of our favourite restaurants in Ishigaki
We are regular customers and every time the food is great. Shrimper is a family restaurant, father is chef, mother and daughter serve the guests. That’s one of the reasons, we like to come here. The chef works hard and cooks with passion. They provide constant quality, friendliness and service. For 16 years already.
Fish restaurant
The interior is very Japanese, dining on a wooden floor in between aquariums, ferns and hanging plants. Many fish dishes on the menu, which is their specialty. Pastas along with squid ink soup and sushi. A few of our favourite dishes:
The fried shrimps are shockingly delicious. In Japan people eat a certain kind of shrimp without taking off the head and peeling of the shell which makes an extra crunchy layer. All dishes are fresh and home made with local ingredients.
It’s a good idea to make a reservation, because the restaurant can be full.
