In the rural area 4. These last 4 are most interesting for travellers to use, but at the moment there is no English information available. The bus doesn’t run frequently, which can cause problems. We therefore recommend you to rent a car.

Karry Airport shuttle service
The Airport shuttle service takes you for ¥500 in 30 minutes to Ishigaki city, the ferry terminal, and doesn’t stop in between. It goes every 30 minutes.
De last stop is the ferry terminal from where you can travel by ferry to Taketomi, Kohama, Iriomote island or other Yaeyama islands.

Airport-bus terminal / bus terminal-airport
De bus terminal is located in Ishigaki city, not far from the ferry terminal. This bus goes every 30 minutes and has many stops such as ‘SanA’ supermarket (next to MacDonalds). Supermarket Max Valu and 100 Yen shop Daiso are also close. These shops are further away from the city area. From the airport to the bus terminal it’s about 45 minutes.

Every 30 minutes. End station is also the bus terminal and stops at Nikko hotel, ANA hotel and Best-inn.
Kabira liner tour bus
The Kabira liner tour bus departs from the airport and goes to Kabira bay. In Kabira it stays 90 minutes, from where it goes to the ferry terminal. In these 90 minutes you can visit this famous area and bay. For this bus it’s required to make a reservation in advance (T: 098 856 8955). Costs: ¥1500
