As in more places in Japan, you wouldn’t expect a restaurant in an alley like this. The restaurant sets a high standard to its food and offers fish, meat, a few vegetable/salad dishes, desserts and wines.

Although it’s a French restaurant, the menu has Spanish and Italian influences as well. The prices are a bit higher than most of the restaurants here.
Somehow it has a Tokyo atmosphere to it, with a rough outlook and an industrial & wood look inside. They have an open kitchen so you can see the chefs prepare your food.

Zoals wel meer in Japan, verwacht je niet dat in deze steeg een restaurant verborgen zit. Gadjo Dilo zet in op kwaliteit en serveert vis, vlees, een paar groenten/salade gerechten, nagerechten en wijnen.

Alhoewel Gadjo Dilo een Frans restaurant wordt genoemd, zien we ook Spaanse en Italiaanse invloeden terugkomen in de gerechten. De prijzen liggen hier wel iets hoger dan het gemiddelde restaurant in Ishigaki.
De inrichting is trouwens de moeite waard om te zien. Een beetje het Tokyo gevoel, met een industriële look gecombineerd met hout. Het heeft een open keuken, dus je ziet de chefs de gerechten bereiden.
